We are situated on the Sporting Shooters Association Australia ACT shooting complex. Once on Hector McIntosh Grove take the 3rd gate on the right.

FAQ

Yes, please contact us with your ideas.

We specialise in clay target shooting however you can organize to sight in your rifle at the main range with SSAA ACT.

• Singlets, thongs, and camouflage are prohibited on the range. 

• Flat close-toe shoes must be worn at all times.   

• We recommend you bring hats and sunglasses in warmer weather.

• In the colder months try to dress warmly, however, bulky jackets with big collars are discouraged as they make it difficult to mount the shotgun into the shoulder correctly.

• If you wear corrective lenses for distance bring them with you as they can be beneficial to you during the activity.

• Yes you can come in fancy dress for the Buck or Hen party.

Yes, however we do not accept AMEX.

 

• Shotguns are to remain unloaded and in the open position at all times except when on the lanes preparing to shoot.

• ALL individuals on the grounds are to sign the attendance book on arrival.

• It is the shooters responsibility to know what squad they are in and be on the lanes at the time of round commencement.

We specialise in clay target shooting. Please direct any inquiries regarding rifle or pistol shooting to SSAA ACT. 

Our Olympic Trap layout has a roof so don’t worry about the weather we will always try our best to accommodate beginner session bookings, where possible. Note there may be some delays as the squads move slightly slower in the wet. We encourage you to wear weather appropriate clothing so you are as comfortable as possible during your experience.
